Jamhair: You are an angel, a gift. We will never be far from you in our hearts. We will never understand why you had to leave us, but we will learn to accept it with time. Bless you for all of your wonderful help in making our lives a joy every day for 678 enchanted days. Love. Hugs. Kisses. (Sorry we can't help ourselves). Mom & Dad
To Beth
Angela was one of Jahmair's first crushes. She is the daughter of Jahmair's visiting nurse - Beth - who was an important part of his life in the past two years. Thank you Beth.
To Tess
Tess gave her heart and soul to taking care of Jahmair - Thank you Tess & Kirk
To Vicki
Vicki did more than take care of Jahmair during his first year with us - she was his first best friend and helped him develop a wonderful ability to engage in imaginative play . Thank you Vicki.
To Liz
Jahmair got to benefit from Liz's incredible skill with children - so did we. She also opened her heart and her home to him. Thank you Liz, Jake & Jesse
To the JCC
Every day Jahmair attended school or camp at JCC he came home with something new - be it a story, a new concept, questions never heard before. Thank you to all the JCC staff who made that possible.

JCC Family
Jahmair was a presence at the JCC. Everyone he met was touched by him. Please add comments here for Ellen and Dan.
We felt so fortunate to have come to know Jahmair during Gabriel's time at the JCC. He was such a wonderful little boy. From the first time we met him during day camp last year we were struck by what an adorable and sweet boy he was. He truly lit up the room. He always seemed to make those around him smile and want to be around him. I know that Gabriel really enjoyed playing with him and in playdates they had recently. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the tremendous opportunity to meet him.
And to Ellen and Dan, the love that you and Jahmair shared was infectious. It truly is an inspiration and a wonderful tribute to you both and to Jahmair. Please don't hesitate to contact us to help in any way, we are just around the corner. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Our son was in Jahmair's camp class this past summer. From everything we heard and saw, Jahmair was an adorable and wonderful boy. We were so saddened to hear of his passing - and your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Our deepest condolences.
Our daughters, Alison and Marlee, were classmates of Jahmair's at the JCC last year. At school functions and birthday paties, we were alwyas taken by his bright smile and sweet face. Such a sweet face. We send our deepest condolences for this unthinkable loss. Please know that you are in all our thoughts.
Our family was luck enough to know Jahmair both as a neighborhood friend and camp classmate of Jack's. Jahmair was a happy sweet boy who always had a smaile on his face. All who knew him were truly blessed and lucky. He will be missed but always is our hearts. We send our deepest condolences to Ellen and Dan and their families. We will miss seing Dan and Jahmair at the Lake street park. All our love.
Our daughter Lily was lucky to be in class with Jahmair at the JCC. She LOVED playing with him -- especially at the sand table and outside. Always so sweet and gentle, smiling and looking at you with those adorable eyes. He will be missed tremendously but is in our hearts. Our deepest condolences. You are all in our thoughts and prayers
Benjamin was in Jahmair's class last year and was always delighted to see him there or at the park. He especially admired Jahmair's glasses and often announces "I'm Jahmair with glasses on!" Whenever we would see him about town with Mom and Dad, it was clear how you cherished one another. We are so terribly sorry for your loss. He will be missed. Teddi, Murray, Benjamin and Arielle Stahl
Jahmair and Ali were in the same camp group last summer at the JCC. Jahmair would always say "Hi Ali" and try to hold her hand. He definitely had a little crush on her! Jahmair, we will always remember you as Ali's first suitor! Ellen and Dan, we are so sorry that your little angel was taken way too soon. Love, Stefanie, Shon, Sammy & Ali Glusky
We only knew Jahmair a short while, as our daughter Ella was in his camp class, but we know she enjoyed playing dress-up with him there. We are so sorry for your unbearable loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
